Low Intensity Laser (LILT) Services
Laser Therapy
Edmonton Chiropractic and
Wellness Clinic is pleased to be able to provide
laser therapy to assist in the body's recuperative processes through providing 3
types of tissue penetrating light (red, infrared, and laser) to heal at the cellular
level. Laser therapy is the use of monochromatic light emission from a low intensity
laser diode or an array of high intensity Super Luminous Diodes to treat musculoskeletal
injuries, chronic and degenerative conditions, and to heal wounds.
With this form of treatment, the body's immune response is stimulated. Essentially,
this laser therapy jump-starts the body's natural healing process by sending energy
into muscles and joints, that is then transformed into biochemical energy. This
decreases swelling, accelerates healing time, and increases one's pain threshold.
